Amanda Palombo, PT, DPT, PCS received her B.S. in Exercise Science and Sports Studies with a Minor in Biological Sciences and Psychology along with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Her clinical expertise afforded her board certifications as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist by the APTA Board of Clinical Specialties and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist by the Brain Injury Association of America. Dr. Palombo brings theory to practice as she shares her eclectic experiences in the acute inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, and school settings working with individuals from birth to 21 years of age. Dr. Palombo values research and teaching. She has presented her research at the national APTA Combined Sections Meeting and serves as an Adjunct Instructor for the Rutgers University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program for the Exercise Science, Kinesiology and Biomechanics, and Cardiopulmonary courses. Her passion for teaching, research, and working with children makes her an apt instructor for this course.
